It's outrageous how much profit they make off their food! If you want to make a change and challenge corporate practices, stop purchasing their products in-store. Additionally, their kitchens are among the dirtiest in the city. The health department really needs to conduct a thorough inspection of this chain, as they are not meeting safety standards. There are no ventilation hoods in the kitchen!

He... read more Maverik is an okay restaurant with mostly friendly staff. However, there is an older man with long hair—possibly named Harry—who can be inattentive and slow. He often brings up random political topics at the register and tends to shout everything, even your birthdate if you need to show ID. While some of the food is good, the menu can be unpredictable. Also, their small 4-inch pizzas are around $7, which seems a bit pricey. These are areas that definitely need improvement.

The cashier refused to accept my driver’s license, doubting that it was really me—a first for me. I’m 26 and was simply trying to buy cigarettes. I even returned with my car registration and insurance to prove my identity, but she still wouldn’t serve me and threatened to call the police. Frustrated, I ended up going to the 7-Eleven across the street to make my purchase. I’m left wondering why I was treated this way—was it because of my race? I identify as white but am also Hispanic and Filipino. I felt hurt and confused, especially since I’m a regular customer who frequently buys beer there. It was very disappointing, and I hope Maverik can improve their service.

I appreciate that they offer free water and ice if I bring my own cup. When I need to use one of their cups, it typically costs 27 cents at the locations I've visited. However, today, a young lady at this location tried to charge me $1.81. I explained that it was just water, but she insisted the price was because of the cup. I'm confused about why this location charges $1.81 when others only charge 27 cents.
