I was surprised by some of the negative reviews on here, ive been coming to this restaurant for years and while the food may be a bit americanized its still my favorite mexican restaurant in town. Service is fast and food is made fresh. I love their chips and their chimichangas!

I thought I'd try a new mexican place and I've driven by this one quite a few times. I ordered a chile verde burrito and I was sorry I did. I couldn't even finish it. They used really hot chile. It was by far the worst chile verde burrito I've ever had. I was so disappointed. I was still hungry when I left so I got a whopper and it was the best hamburger I've ever eaten. It might have just been because I was starving when I left El Farol though.
