Asian Star - Midvale
Asian Star
Description
Asian Star restaurant offers a mix of experiences according to various reviews. While some customers had a negative experience due to slow service, cold food, and unappealing dishes, others thoroughly enjoyed the fresh food, vegan-friendly options, and excellent service. Despite some inconsistencies in server friendliness and food quality, Asian Star seems to be a decent option in a city with limited Chinese establishments. The atmosphere has been praised by many, with one couple even describing it as "wonderful." Overall, Asian Star appears to be a restaurant with some room for improvement, but with potential to provide a satisfying dining experience for those looking for Chinese cuisine.

The food was delicious, many gluten free options, and great service. This is a little more expensive... 6 bucks for literally a cup of egg drop soup, if the owner reads this... give us large soup portion!, because the food portion were great, otherwise great place overall
We had fish with black bean sauce and it was very good. We also ordered the lettuce wraps. My wife ordered spicy beef and it was very tender. The place was very nice and prices are about 20 per plate which is very reasonable.
A great location for Asian cuisine. It tends to be busy Friday night, so arrive promptly. I highly recommend the dumplings, and walnut shrimp. Most of the dishes are very yummy, alongside free serving of white rice. This is a go to place for family, andrecommend to anyone!
A well maintained and inviting place for a wide variety of asian food. They do not serve pho and sushi anymore but the menu is still deep enough. Per person serving is good enough size and they don?t mind you sharing in a group ordering a lacarte. Parking is a bit tight around the building but you do have an overflow parking at the church next door. There is novalet parking. The fact that you often might find yourself parking in the overflow lot shows how busy the place is. They do takereservations so helps to plan ahead.
?Sesame seed chicken and lo mein were delicious. Chicken fried rice was a bit flavorless. Service was graceful and perfect. They brought the food fast, it was delicious and hot. They were attentive with refilling our waters and checking on us. Theatmosphere was open and bright. Prices seemed a bit high but loved this spot and would recommend!! ?
