I went back and asked for the vegan option and they said they knew these bits weren’t vegan and we hunted for an alternative (some clif bars for sale are vegan).

I did not see how the vegan cake mentioned in the description, but also not to ask it. super cozy rustic atmosphere (good, except the animal heads inside)

They offer vegan options at every meal including baked goods. We quite enjoyed our dinners here. Breakfast was lacking a bit in menu options but i overhead a cook telling another patron that he could make him a tofu scramble (which was not on the menu); so the staff seemed knowledgeable and helpful! Tiny Midpines isn’t necessarily a place you would expect to find a cafe with a solid vegan menu, so the June Bug is a pleasant surprise.
