Th... read more I visited the restaurant on Saturday night at 8:30, and to my surprise, it was completely empty. The place appeared unclean, and the food looked old and dry. The staff seemed disinterested and should consider moving on if they’re unhappy with their work. While we were trying to place our order, they were busy cleaning up, and several of the toppings we wanted were missing. In fact, the staff was removing toppings right in front of us. The person preparing the food had a visibly annoyed and uninterested expression. I ended up having to provide guacamole and sour cream for my out-of-town guest from home. Additionally, the cashier didn’t give me a receipt when I asked for one. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and we won't be returning. I recommend heading a little further down the road to Ricos or a different Mexican restaurant instead, where the food is fresh, safe, and the staff will treat you with kindness and appreciate your business.

When there are peppers hanging halfway out of the bowl and resting on the counter, they should be removed entirely instead of being placed back into the bowl after touching the counter. Having worked in restaurants myself, I understand the challenges of maintaining cleanliness in a busy kitchen. However, when food that has been in contact with a counter that looks like it has seen better days is placed back on my plate, it's quite off-putting. To make matters worse, the staff person did this right in front of me and then casually asked if I wanted mild or hot, as if there was nothing wrong with their actions. This shows a lack of awareness and training regarding proper food handling practices. On a brighter note, the girl at the register noticed my frustration and kindly offered me complimentary chips, which I appreciated.

Their company policy requires a 24-hour notice for changes to catering orders, but they graciously allowed us to move ours up by an hour to 12:45. They open at 10:45, which is no easy task, especially on a busy Saturday during lunch. The manager and staff were both professional and attentive.

Food was scattered across the counter, completely missing the bowls, and no one seemed to be making any effort to clean it up. The staff were focused on taking orders without paying attention to cleanliness, which was rather off-putting. Additionally, the dining area was in a similar state, looking like it hadn't been cleaned for hours—definitely not pleasant. I also noticed that none of the employees were friendly; there were no greetings or smiles. It felt like they were all quite unhappy to be there.

I recently placed an online order requesting extra rice, but it seemed like they shorted me even more than usual, since I couldn't see the bowl until I got home. When I opened it, I found that it was barely full.
