This was the best dinner experience I had since the move to the Permian Basin! The service was great, the food was excellent, and after the realization that we do not order meat, they offered us a special menu based on plants. In addition, their beer selection had our favorites. View all feedback.
What Ladislav Víšková doesn't like about The Garlic Press:
This place came highly recommended and we were so disappointed. We didn't even get to eat the meal we ordered. I would have given 1 star except once we got the appetizers they were really tasty and the manager was pretty cool in dealing with the situation. Our server wouldn't make eye contact Brought our drinks without ice Appetizers took 45 minutes server forgot to put our order in. After an hour of waiting for the... View all feedback.
Great service and the atmosphere is also great. I ordered the chicken and waffles it was delicious a bit spicy, but overall a good meal. David is a large server very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and food. A great place definitely recommend!
The garlic press is a beautiful little restaurant to enjoy another type of food and taste! We look forward to the GP for our choice for jubilee dinner. There is always something on the menu we want to try or love. Never a disappointment for us! Today we started with Calamari and bread. Great taste! For our main course we had the Ribeye Steak and Halibut dinner. The Yams and the Risotto Cakes are delicious! Don't jump on Dessert! Our whole time fave is the cream brûlée, but today we decided to go a fluffy chocolate cake and a cinnamon roll bread pudding. Amazing!!! Yeah, I forgot to make a picture of the meal, but here's the best part!
We've heard good things about this place since we came to Midland, and I'm pretty impressed by the Garlic Press. All employees were very nice and attentive, we never missed a beat during dinner rush on a Saturday and our waiter. Everything came out for a good time. All we ordered was very fresh, well seasoned and built. Scallops were perfectly cooked and delicious. Risotto was from this world. The banana pudding cheesecake was one of the best cheese cakes I've ever had. The only things we didn't like were just favorite things, but everything to the flavored oil and bread tasted great. They even had really good water and yes, it's expensive... But I'd say it's worth a special occasion. Look forward to coming back and try more about the menu. Edit: Your brunch is also fantastic!

Paid for the one appetizer and left. We won't be coming back
Let me tell you about this place! We went in with a party of 22. They were very transparent they are short staffed like the rest of America is at this point in 2022. Mason was our server for ALL of us and he was absolutely amazing. He was on top of our drinks, appetizers, and entrees. He never let a glass go dry and made sure all the food was prepared perfectly, even the ones with special requests. Mason is a gem in the service industry and they are lucky to have him. Now the food: the Brussels and calamari appetizer may be some of the best I have ever had. The snook fish entree was cooked to perfection and the vegetables that came with it were the perfect amount of crisp and flavor blends. Others in our party bragged about the rib-eye, filet, veal and salmon. Not one entree was over cooked and all came out beautifully. If you are in Midland, this is a must try! Service and food were 10/10
