Was Kenneth Thomas at Rustic Café a mag?
I was very impressed everytime I go by they are busy. we tried late lunch(saturday) and it was great. the cook(asst. manager) came out to greet us as we were eating and all the service people were inviting and friendly. View all feedback.

Sunday morning marked my second attempt to grab a meal from this place, and once again, I left disappointed. The website claims that breakfast is served all day, but when I arrived at 10:15 AM, there was no breakfast available. Better learn Spanish to order food. This is America where we speak English. Stop hiring people who can't speak English.

I gave you another chance, and I regret that decision.Woefully understaffed. Took 45 minutes to get my salad, and 10 more minutes before my chopped steak and fries came out. Both were cold.When the restaurant first opened it was a great place. That didn't last long.I won't be back.

My husband and I came for breakfast on Sunday. Was not was expected. I only saw my server 2 times (once to bring drinks take order and 2nd to bring food) basically. Our server is not a people person and needs to work on his communication skills. He has dud personality. He never smiles or acted like he liked his job. He was very slow and took care of others cashing out before serving our food. He sat there talking to manager and other cook while our food sat in the window. It probably sat there a good 7 min. Finally brought food and had to ask for a knife to cut the food (was dirty and had to add for another) and then it was cold. Server never came back to table after that. We had to ask for refills as he would just walk by and not even check on table. When leaving and paying bill, he never asked how things were or even looked up at us or even say thank you. The food and service was not what the company holds themselves up too. I would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone and will not be going back. I read all the other reviews and seems they only respond to the good reviews and don't care to fix what's wrong with the place.

I normally would never post a review, but I felt like I had to because it really upset me. My mom and myself took my daughter and infant son out to lunch and I keep my son in a stroller since it’s not so easy to get him out while we’re eating. We walked in and when we asked the lady if we could have a booth instead of a table, she walked off super fast and frustrated and sighed VERY loudly at us and said “with that??” Referring to my stroller for my baby. It made me so upset, like we were an inconvenience to her by asking for a booth. Booths are easier to keep my 3 year old settled and sat down versus being in a chair. I’ve never been so uncomfortable eating at a restaurant and feeling like I wasn’t wanted inside before. She was a little nicer when taking our order, but she never came to check on us after that, other than to give us our food. Overall, the experience wasn’t good because of the first impression she gave us. The food itself was VERY good. Unfortunately, because of the bad service, we will not be returning for another meal.
