Grand Traverse Pie Company - Midland

I bought a Grand Traverse Blueberry Pie from Kroger. With a price tag of $19.99 and an attractive graphic box, I had high hopes for this pie. However, I was let down. The blueberry filling was dry, the crust and crumb topping were soggy, and the pie tin was stuck to the box. After finally freeing it, I found that the filling had spilled all over the bottom of the box. There were also drippings around the crust, as if it had boiled over. Perhaps it was put straight into the box from the oven?

Food was ok, but not great. As the name would suggest they are much better with pies than sandwiches. The blueberry lemon silk pie was great. Everything is pretty expensive though. The sandwiches were a little greasy. It was not the best visit for me. I dined in and had brunch. The price per person was $10–20. The food was rated a 3, service a 4, and atmosphere a 3.
