Wife got three orders to go. We normally grab Panda but this time wanted a little different taste. Food was still hot when got home and all the rice and meats were flavorful. I would recommend this place. View all feedback.
What Lucien Maurer doesn't like about Chinese Kitchen:
I am rating it so high based on the food. That was quite good and particularly spicy. Was absolutely pleasant. The reason for the rating is mainly the lack of updating the owners or perhaps the shopping center has done for the restaurant. It is old and dingy. I am rating it so high based on the food. That was quite good and particularly spicy. Was absolutely pleasant. The reason for the rating is mainly the lack of updating the owners or perhaps the shopping center has done for the restaurant. It is old and dingy. The ceiling needs to be replaced due to heavy water damage and significant darkening and the decor needs to be seriously updated. Sometimes you go to a place only for the food and that would be the case here. Service was fast and professional. Again, the food was excellent. Ordered mandarin chicken, beef pan fried noodles and spicy pork in garlic sauce with fried rice. The egg rolls were also delicious. If you like Chinese more American style this restaurant will be up your alley.
If I could give 0 stars and enter this review I would. I placed my order at their carryout window at 6:50 pm and received my food at 7:48 pm! I watched others come and go that had call in orders as well as people in the restaurant place orders and receive their dine-in food. When I inquired about my order I was told orders from the grill take longer. I had ordered Orange Chicken with pan-fried noodles and 2 Treasures of the Orient with fried rice which turned out to be a soupy mix of fishy smelling shrimp, scallops and chicken. No stir-fry or grill items. The fried rice definitely wasn't fried! It was yellow rice with vegetables. Needless to say I hadn't been to Chinese Kitchen in years and now I remember why! For $27.00 change it was the worse food my family and I ever had. Save yourself time money by not choosing the Midland location.
Whenever I'm in Midland, this is my only and only Chinese food! Since my first visit in 2019, food has never failed me. Not even. Great. Try everything! The prices were low. I really enjoyed her food. Foe me the best Chinese restaurant in Midland .

Good service and decent food. I love Chinese food! Some tables available at average height as well as others seated on the floor. Nice ambiance. I would go back again. :
