A good pint of real ale. The food was OK but a little disappointed that the mushrooms on my chicken were cremated. Chicken breast was fine. A friend's scampi overcooked and our onion rings had lovely crispy batter but nearly raw onion. (Frying oil too hot? Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 View all feedback.
Great dining experience from choice of food, friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Food hot and well presented, staff very helpful and happy to advise. Rooms warm and inviting and even on a Monday night a jolly ambience prevailed. Would visit again if in the vicinity.

The menu had the usual pub grub classics and a few more unusual dishes. We both chose the pan fried sea bass with spicy noodles and mangetout which was cooked to perfection. The coffee was hot black thick and tasty enough to warrant three cups! This pub has a modern clean appearance with great staff and nice toilets. I can't wait to return to taste more of their Fayre.
