Subway - Middletown

I visit this restaurant because the ingredients are always fresh and the staff is friendly and efficient. The place on NAVSTA where I work tends to be slow, and the ingredients (bows) are often in bad condition. That’s why I prefer to leave the base and head to this location at 238 E Main. The manager really knows what they’re doing. Additionally, for those who complain despite receiving kindness from the staff, you'll find that the workers will do their best to make your sandwich just the way you want it. I've seen too many customers act foolishly, yet the workers at this Subway have consistently treated even the difficult ones with respect.

The restaurant has a spacious underground setting. The meat is served in pre-portioned amounts, which I appreciate. The place is clean and well-maintained. Unlike some subway shops, you won't have to skip on the toppings here. I enjoy loading up on veggies, so it's great that I don’t have to keep asking for more. With the coupons available, the sandwiches are quite affordable, leaving me with extra room in my budget for drinks. It’s also a nice touch to be able to tip your sandwich artist. Don’t forget to use a voucher and show your appreciation!

I had a lovely visit at the restaurant, and employee Matt was very friendly. We had a great conversation about places we both remember in and around Newport. He also took the time to carefully check my order, which contributed to an overall fantastic experience.
