Delicious. Great variety of dumplings all served hot. Soups and buns also on the menu. Great iced drinks. Takeout seemed quite popular. Staff is friendly and efficient.
Yesterday, in January 2023, my son asked to go back, and honestly, I had forgotten why we had stopped going, so we decided to give it another shot. Unfortunately, they were out of half their menu items, including the signature xiaolong bao. We ended up ordering two types of dumplings, each costing just over a dollar per dumpling. The first type was simply unseasoned spinach, and the second was supposed to be pork, shrimp, and chive, but I could only taste the pork, and it was far inferior to any dumplings I've had from various Chinese takeout places in Middletown. We also tried a pork steamed bun that tasted as if it had been frozen for too long. Additionally, my son ordered a brown sugar milk with boba. While the milk tasted decent, the boba was unfortunately mushy. I dislike leaving negative reviews, but I felt it was important to share this experience as it was a disappointing meal and not worth the price. As for vegetarian options, the only choice available was the unseasoned spinach dumplings.
The food was excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We were too excited to start eating to take any pictures of our meals. It's a fantastic spot for either a quick snack or a leisurely dining experience.
If you are thinking about coming here for good dumplings, go somewhere else. I was craving good soup dumplings and the great reviews on google definitely led me astray. Paid over $50 for dumplings I watch be cooked in the microwave for 2.5 minutes. Thedough was extremely chewy and well, microwaved. Very disappointed.
I'm so happy I checked out this place ! The atmosphere is so cute and their bubble tea is so good! I got the taro, the tapioca balls were perfectly chewy. We also got the scallion pancake which was perfectly paired with their house made chili sauce. Thesoup dumplings were very flavorful and the other dumpling dish smelled and tasted amazing! I can't wait to come back again!
