There is no physical menu available in the restaurant, only a board inside. The menus posted on the website and the pictures of the menu are outdated, with many dishes no longer available. The sandwiches are overpriced and do not come with any sides. The baked goods are dry and undercooked in the middle. The management is rude and lacks basic customer service skills. I do not plan on returning to this restaurant. View all feedback.

I recently moved into the opposite and came here for the first time today. the customer service is beyond and beyond, the prices are very fair, and my order was delicious! I will definitely visit this cozy little caffe.
I have several other coffee shops near my house with great coffee that I'll grab for something on the go, but if I want to settle in and spend a couple hours in a coffee shop reading or working, I drive from 30 minutes away just to go to Java Johnny's. The Egganini breakfast sandwich with bacon is out of this world good, and the coffee and tea drinks I've ordered never disappoint. Service is great, and it's spacious with plenty of seating and tables.Java Johnny's makes me want to move to Middletown so I can visit every day.
This place is excellent! They are consistent and nice no matter what day or time it is. We have tried a number of coffee places in the area and always end up realizing that there is no one that does it better. They have never made a mistake on our orders which nowadays seems like a miracle.
