With limited seating, it's not uncommon to wait over an hour for a spot, so I highly recommend making a reservation. The drinks, inspired by tarot cards, are a fun twist. I opted for the Justice card, where you tell the bartender your preferred type of liquor along with a few descriptive words (like citrusy or carbonated), and they create a cocktail tailored to your tastes. It was delicious and exactly what I had in mind!

Their main emphasis is on pr... read more If you're at Wesleyan University, this place is a must-visit. After my post-Covid visit, I'm thrilled to see that they're thriving. Their main emphasis is on pre-Prohibition classics, but they've also incorporated a variety of tikki and floral notes, which can be found in the back of the menu. The cocktails are simply outstanding and beautifully highlight those flavors. I tried the After Eight Old Fashioned, Black Album, HighGarden, Night Shade, and St. Marks, and each one was exceptional.
