Blues Restaurant - MIDDLETON BEACH

We have been totally frustrated by the lack of good eating venues between Victor Harbor and Goolwa opting on many occasions to travel from VH to McLaren Vale to dine with friends.However a recent visit to Blues proved truly delightful with fantastic food from appetizers to desert. The service was also very professional and attentive with some fun thrown in.The venue itself is a heritage property and is extremely pleasant with a number of areas to create greater privacy and ambiance.I don't know why we left it so long to explore this fabulous local venue and it's great cuisine but we have already recommended it to a number of our friends and associates as a delightful offering.

During a recent weekend escape my partner and I dined at Blues and it was absolutely lovely. The crab souffle was delicious and the seafood platter for two was plentiful and very tasty especially the soft shelled crabs. There was also a function in the restaurant that night and the waiting staff still gave good service to the other diners. I will definitely be back.

We were looking for a fine dining experience on our week-end away and were directed to Blues Restaurant. It came with the caveat that the prices also match the finer quality of the food.I had to agree with the referral advice as the chef certainly knows his food and for a regional area he does not let his artistic presentation slip. The only slippage in qualifying this as a full fine dining experience would be the restaurant interior is typical of a regional restaurant.We went all out and ordered the main seafood platter and we were impressed how each element on the platter was prepared uniquely. Overall we were very satisfied with the choice of restaurant. It is also on the Entertainment Card which takes the edge off the price.

Couldn't speak more highly of the place Becky the wedding planner was so organised everything ran like clock work. When the hall is dressed for a wedding it looks lovely and the stairs just make it, staff were very attentive, food was good we had a small wedding breakfast 28 people and evening we had about 75 people . Taylor make program for us and not ridiculously over priced

The service was exceptional the owners both took time to talk to us one being the chef. The menu is not huge but the food was amazing.Excellent selection of wines
