The four o... read more My husband and I were visiting Madison/Middleton and had dinner at Villa Dolce with friends who live in the area. I had read about it on TripAdvisor. The four of us loved everything about our dinner. The food was delicious. One of us had the special, tuna, perfectly cooked, on top of pasta, and the rest of us had different pasta dishes. We all tried each other‘s food, and the favorite pasta dishes were the Bolognese on papperdelle and the mushroom ravioli. Dessert was a delight, too. We all sampled a selection of gelato and a cannoli. The service was excellent. Our server never intruded on our conversation, but was extremely professional and helpful. We ate outside on a beautiful evening, and the whole experience could not have been better.

Who would seat a couple next to a table containing two unruly children? We could not even speak without being out shouted either by the children or the parents.... read more Who would seat a couple next to a table containing two unruly children? We could not even speak without being out shouted either by the children or the parents. The server did not help by engaging in additional baby talk at at a voulume equal to the children. We asked for a new table and were moved to an overflow table in another room. This table had no assigned waitress, so we were left with flagging down a server. We had this reservation for over a week. Is this the regard you have for your customers. Needless to say, we had a terrible dining experience at a not cheap price.

The desserts a... read more The food was very tasty, unfortunately the roasted vegetables were only lukewarm had they been hot this would have been at least a 4 star review. The desserts are excellent, as one would expect from this restaurant's name.
