The Stainton Inn and Tea Rooms
The Stainton Inn and Tea Rooms
Description
At The Stainton Inn, guests are met with a mix of experiences that highlight both the restaurant's potential and its shortcomings. While some diners rave about friendly staff, inviting atmosphere, and commendable dishes like the Sharing Platter, others express disappointment over cleanliness and menu options. The homemade chips receive consistent praise, but the quality of certain main dishes, particularly the chicken parmo, raises concern. Despite these inconsistencies, the establishment’s charm and welcoming vibe often inspire patrons to return, seeking a better overall experience amid the bustle of a vibrant local pub setting.

Took my Dad for the carvery on father's Day, very spacious bar and lounge. We got lager shandys which went down really well and chose the pork dinner. Meat was lean and tasty and so was the rest of the meal... everything cooked to perfection, a home from home dinner... definitely will be back...loved it.
I had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant today. The choices of two meats were all homemade, and I chose beef and gammon. They were so tender and delicious, melting in my mouth. I will definitely be back - this was the best Sunday lunch I've had in a long time.
We had a wonderful afternoon and a lovely lunch. We booked in advance and the team went that extra mile to ensure we had a fantastic vegan Sunday lunch. Thank you!! Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
