I love Greece and Greek food and this place did not let me down. We tried halloumi, feta and the gyros, all of which were delicious. I would have preferred tzatziki with my gyros instead of mayo, but staff were happy to provide this for me. Service was friendly and efficient and the restaurant had a calm atmosphere.

The menu is a combination of Mediterranean and Middlesbrough. We stuck with Med and were fantastically rewarded. The Acropolis Special grill for 2 is enough for even the heartiest appetite and at £30 it is worth every penny. The meat was succulent and well flavoured with herbs and spices. I request rice instead of chips and we asked for a side of Tzatziki, neither of these items appeared on the bill. The service was very friendly and the team were attentive without being overbearing. Total bill was £42, including 1 starter, even main course to sink a battleship and 3 soft drinks. Great value. We'll be going back.

It was very quiet and at one point we were the only diners it but it was only 5.00pm so not surprising. We wouldn't normally be in a restaurant that early but we had both had the day off work and had been in town doing a bit of shopping and eating. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent and we also enjoyed a couple of Mythos which we like. We will definitely go again for an evening meal.
