A great after dinner place to walk to from the restaurant. A large variety of shops with all kinds of variety of shopping. Prices a little pricey, but great sales. Love to browse here! View all feedback.
It's a fantastic spot to stroll to after dinner. There’s a wide range of shops offering all sorts of items. While the prices can be a bit high, there are some excellent sales to be found. I really enjoy browsing here!
I went out with my family after my father's funeral. The food was delicious, and our server provided excellent service.
I really enjoy this restaurant. However, I have to mention that they recently raised the price of the buffet and no longer serve baked steak, which used to be my favorite dish. They do offer it on their family-style menu, but only on Saturdays. Despite this change, it's still a great place to spend time exploring the various shops and enjoying a good meal. I noticed that baked steak has been removed from the all-you-can-eat menu and the family-style dining option, except for Saturdays. While it is available on the menu, it's now served in a standard portion of about 4 ounces. The restaurant explained that it became too expensive to prepare and too time-consuming. As a result, they've increased prices and taken it off the buffet and family-style options. You can still purchase it to-go for $15 per pound.
The shops are nice, but nothing particularly special, especially after spending a day shopping at the flea market and exploring downtown Shipshewana. The prices felt a bit steep, though I suppose that’s to be expected given the location near the Essenhaus.
I had a great time at this restaurant! There are plenty of charming items, and the staff is very friendly.
