Flatbreads are always great. Hot right out of the oven any way you want them. VERY fresh toppings. Everyone who works there is amazing. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 View all feedback.
What Chip M doesn't like about American Flatbread:
I went with a friend on a Saturday night, which admittedly might have been a mistake, since they are extremely busy. But the wait was not terrible; unfortunately, the pizza was just a notch or two shy of very good. And this from a guy who has enjoyed it, it worked with, and eaten a lot of pizza in his life! The atmosphere here is really conducive to casual conversationIt has a nice friendly vibe and the service staff is super super friendly.
Compared to Flatbread (regional chain, especially Portsmouth, NH location).there's work to be done.
I did not think this pizza was goodI got the gf pizza, and the first came without tomato sauce and was inedible.
Over-priced toppings. My wife and I went to AFB specifically for gluten-free and dairy free Flatbread pizza. Unfortunately, they were out of dairy free cheese, so we had to get it without. However, we added toppings such as chicken, Olives, and sun-dried tomatoes. AFB charges $2.50 for each additional topping, so you'd expect the toppings to be generous, right? Nope. The chicken was thinly shredded and sparse. Same for the sun-dried tomatoes. The olive topping probably equated to one or two whole Olives cut up and distributed across the pizza. So we paid almost $8 for maybe $1 worth of toppings. Absurd.
Great food, great service! We’ve been trying to get to this place on one of our trips up to Vermont and finally made it happen. Their house salad is enough for 2 and the flatbread pizzas were top notch! Will definitely return.
