Amazing staff and bomb banana marg flavor as well as all of the pork dishes!
Overall, the food is tasty and typical Mexican cuisine for the area. The prices have steadily increased, while portions have decreased. The dry erase board has specials written on it. If you order one, check what you are charged. They'll correct the price but consistently charge the wrong price. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Plan on spending $20 per person.
The chicken in the chicken taco salad had to much water in it. Diluted the seasonings in the chicken.
Got takeout and it wasn't near the quality we normally get when we eat in.
Good place. Beware they may try to sit you right next to the men's restroom (the booth they store the broom and dust pan next to) just ask for a different place. The food is a pretty good value. Service seems to always be good until you have to wait for the check. I enjoy going to El Maguaey. I do wish the chips were fresh and made in-house.
