I live about 5 minutes away from this place. First time ordering. The food was cold. I could have made better tacos at home. They cut up the meat pieces so tiny. It couldn't have been more than 1 tablespoon of meat. Not only that the food was bland, the taco shells were burnt inedible. Second of all. I ordered from Uber eats. See the photos attached. Not the best burritos. Dried.. too much rice.. way too much rice. Quesadillas not very tasty either. Disappointed
Tried Golden Jalapeños for the first time. I had the pulled pork paella, it was loaded with tasty pulled pork. It was delicious. My husband had the large nachos, they were ok as nachos go, plenty of sour cream and guacamole but some of the chips were very greasy, overcooked and bitter. Would not order them again. The classic margarita was very tasty but served in a beer glass? Everything in the place felt greasy, the table, the floor.
Came here after biking in the area and had a great time! Pros: Really friendly employee, I didn't catch her name but she was extremely patient with my questions Empanadas was delicious! Appears short staffed, like many places these days unfortunately. The supposed home made margaritas were a bowl of sugar and served in a beer glass. Come on....a supposed authentic ethnic restaurant should have at least right drinking glasses. Salsa and chip appetizer very Taco Bell-like. Pretty good fish tacos and ok enchiladas. Nothing really memorable so will explore other Mexican restaurants
I am dumbfounded by how many 5 star reviews there are. That was by far, single handedly the worst meal I have ever had in my life. My two friends with me agreed and we all got different things. I'm not one to write bad reviews, but this meal was so awful that I couldn't let it go. Lukewarm meat on a room temperature tortilla and topped with cold veggies. Nothing had flavor even down to the prepackaged cheese blend. How do you screw up shredded cheese?! Seeing the disgust on my face, the owner, who was sleeping at a table when we walked in, asked if he could get me something. I asked for hot sauce. I needed some flavor after all. Even that had no flavor. Ridiculously hot but no flavor. But there was a highlight. Sensing that the disappointment had spread from me to my friends, he gave us a free shot of Don Nacho tequila. WTF is Don Nacho? It's a sad day when that's the best part of your meal... that and finally leaving. Bonus time. We all got to enjoy the meal over and over for the next day and a half. Montezuma's Revenge style!
