Uncle Sams - Mid Sussex

I am disappointed to say that my recent visit to Uncle Sams in Burgess Hill was a far cry from the experiences I had enjoyed over the past 35 years. The restaurant has undergone a drastic transformation for the worse. The cleanliness is lacking, and the atmosphere lacked the quirky charm that I once loved. The food quality has declined significantly, with cheap sauces lacking flavor and poorly prepared salads. It felt like a completely different restaurant. It's disheartening to see such a legendary eatery fall from grace.

I have been dining at this restaurant since the 1980s and the food still tastes amazing! The All Star Burger with extra cheese is a must-try.

This restaurant serves delicious burgers, both beef and veggie, that are not overly stacked so they are easy to eat. The patties are flavorful, topped with crunchy salad, and their chili salsa is a standout. You can even get an extra tub of it for your fries. The prices are great, the staff is friendly, and I don't see why anyone would choose another burger joint over this place. I love that it's a local business too.

Had a burger from here first time I happy to say that they make the best burgers I’ve tasted. Services was quick and food fresh let made milkshakes are delicious strongly recommended.

So so so pleased that Uncle Sams have opened from Thursday to Saturday for takeaway orders using social distancing. I have missed this little treat and have used them for the last two weeks. The burgers are still amazing and fresh and tasty. The staff are very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Great work guys and stay safe
