Harris Hoole - Mid Sussex

What a disappointment! The staff was unwelcoming and couldn't even manage a smile. The sandwich was overcooked and impossible to cut with the cheap plastic utensils. The presentation was lacking, with items like straws and cup carriers haphazardly placed on a window sill. The toastie was served in a box instead of a plate and drinks were served in unpleasant paper cups. When did this restaurant become so bare-bones? I definitely won't be spending my money here again. From a rating of 10 to 2.

I used to be a big fan of this coffee shop, always looking forward to stopping in after shopping. However, today was incredibly disappointing. The service was slow, there was a long queue, but I remained patient. After finally placing my order, the server made a drink for a Tesco staff member who arrived after me in line. Then, her coworker joined her and they chatted away, leaving me still waiting for my coffee. When I asked for brown sugar, I was told it was on the shelf - but I had already checked and it was empty. I miss Holly, the previous manager who was so great. Unfortunately, the current staff seem to lack focus on customer service. It's rare for me to write a negative review, but unfortunately, today it was deserved. Sorry!

This restaurant is a complete joke. At 8:30am, an hour after opening, all of the chairs were still upside down on the tables. Customers had to sort it out themselves if they wanted to sit down. The staff members were extremely unhelpful and uninterested.

Not been to this branch but have tried several others, always good coffee and snacks. And they make it the way you want.

We visited this cafe for coffees and although it wasn't busy, we couldn't find a clean area in which to sit. There was food and napkins around the floor of every table. Clearly, there is no cleaning policy in this establishment so goodness only knows what goes on in the kitchen. Definitely won't be re-visiting.
