I have been a visitor of the Osier Cafe many times now and can only say what a great Cafe it is, run by Helen and her team. Always ready to help the staff are wonderful and provide good old fashioned customer service. BUT if you really want to know that makes this cafe shine, it is their breakfast which if you like cooked, will transport to your traditional English Cooked Happy Place! What Jarick doesn't like about Osier Cafe:
The prices are astronomical for thr quality,, the food is mediocre. The staff had absolutely no idea what they were doing , we had to wait for so long for our tea to arrive that we went and got it ourselves, but the staff are very friendly. What a fantastic idea, cafe in the church. It can be chilly in the winter, but that's OK, the warm welcome and friendly staff make up for it. Excellent menu, gluten free and vegan options available. Dog friendly too. Lovely homemade cake selection. Lunchtime specials. Well worth a visit. I go regularly with family and friends, never disappointed.
Incredible service and delicious food, great spot to grab some lunch I'd recommend to everyone
A really friendly and welcoming cafe that’s moved from the museum to Stowmarket church in recent years. There’s plenty of tables which is good as the Osier’s a popular spot for lunch. It’s a really unique cafe because of the church location. We all enjoyed our food. The rainbow salad with felafel was lovely and the quiche was really nice too and was served with a salad and baked potato. The portion sizes are generous and reasonably priced too. There’s an excellent selection of cakes on the slices of cake are large! I’d happily recommend the Osier cafe to others.
Just popped in for coffee and decorate xmas tree for festival
My son takes singing lessons in Stowmarket and we discovered this little gem of a café which is literally a 3 minute walk from his teacher's place
