The batter was excellent and the atmosphere was enjoyable. It's worth noting which location they're at on a specific night. Keep up the great work!

It was parked up at th... read more There is a decent chip shop in Uffculme, so we were in no desperate rush to check out this street food version, but we're so glad we did. It was parked up at the Magelake car park, and standing out invitingly on a cold night. We had cod chips, and halloumi burger chips. It was reasonably priced, and excellent. Cooked to perfection, not greasy, great flavours and well presented. There looks to be a varied and interesting choice on the menu, using good quality ingredients, and all topped off with a warm welcome. It is going to be a regular treat for us now. Well worth tracking down if you are in Mid Devon.

Fresh Brixham and Cornish fish is fab, my favourite being hake. Lobster burger is good too. Dirty ole bird chicken burger was a revelation, a big portion too. We can't fault this outlet which consistently has the best fish and chips we've ever had. Staff are professional and very friendly too. The prices are cheap,for the standard of food.

But that's not all, the choice of food is amazing, chicken, sausages, seafood the list goes on. Checkout the Facebook page for menu and daily specials, and the list of villages they serve, All the food is cooked fresh while you wait, and in the colder weather there is a heater to stand by to keep you warm. Highly recommended.
