Not sure they have got cooking times (or cooking temperature right yet), as fish batter not crisp, but equally fish flesh not dried out either.

As a result,... read more The restaurant is now being run by a group of young women who seem more interested in chatting loudly than focusing on cooking the fish and chips. As a result, the quality of the food has suffered. The fish is not drained properly after being fried, so it ends up soggy rather than crispy. The chips are cooked multiple times at varying temperatures, resulting in a limp and soggy texture. It seems the current staff is not knowledgeable about how to make high-quality fish and chips.

The dish didn't taste good at all, with most of the chips being green and tasting spoiled. I do not plan on dining at this restaurant again.

Stone cold haddock with a few scrawny pieces of scampi that took half an hour... read more As a local customer very surprised with the really unacceptable offering tonight. Stone cold haddock with a few scrawny pieces of scampi that took half an hour to deliver. The staff knew the scampi had seen much better days with the comment s between them including the person in charge. Long hair from the staff dangling into food with raw food being handled straight before and after cooked food and not a sign of any hand washing. Whilst I was there customers were being sent away without their orders being packed and others returned to collect bits that had been missed. The glass fronts for the food were left open for most of the time I was there which probably accounted for the cold offerings. Really unacceptable and on ringing have been told the manager/ owner will call and a refund offered. Hasn’t helped with tonight’s meal tho and very disappointed.

If i have any complaints, it is not accepting American Express cards when they advertise accepting this card. Please update which cards you accept.
