We unexpectedly descended upon a charming tea room with seven of us craving cream teas, pancakes, and teacakes. Each item we ordered was delicious, and the coffee was excellent as well. The service was friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended! View all feedback.
What Steamboat P doesn't like about Treloars Delicatessen:
We happened across Treloars by accident. The blackboard menu outside sounded tempting and when we ate, our meal expectations were exceeded. The light (light! breakfast was beautifully cooked and presented. the taste was superb and plenty to eat. The hot chocolate was very good and was hot (not always the case in cafeterias! The salami was excellent and there was a wonderful variety of cheeses to choose from. I wish there were more West Country cheeses available. This was my second visit and I highly recommend stopping by when in Crediton.
The staff at the restaurant were exceptional, and the food was truly outstanding. The selection of items in the deli was fantastic with a wide variety of options. I would gladly return for another visit.
My Mum and I love coming here for lunch and having a look at all the beautiful goodies they sell here! The ladies are always so welcoming and lunch and drinks are always delicious and we'll presented. I love to cook and know I can always find unusual ingredients for my recipes here. There chocolate and caramel tart is to die for!

We found Treloars on a detour following traffic problems on our journey from Cornwall to London. It consists of a delicatessen with beautifully kept tearooms. The staff were caring, welcoming and cheerful. The premises and cloakrooms were spotless and there is plenty of public parking nearby. We decided on a ploughman's each as we could see their range of cheeses was vast. We discovered local cheeses we had never heard of which were totally exquisite and the home made ham was also wonderful. Our meal came with salad, delicious chutney, pickles, cole slaw, potatoes and a generous portion of sourdough bread and butter. We had a very fresh coffee with our meal and a wonderful and generous portion of home made shortbread. Would make a detour for this place again!
