I tried the Black Forest milkshake and it was delicious. I returned today and once again, the food was excellent.

It... read more After walking 8 miles, we stumbled upon a great spot to grab some coffee. Our plan was just to have drinks, but we ended up trying their breakfast baguette. It was huge but absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend it. We were so full that we didn't really eat much else for the rest of the day!

As a family of 4 with an 11 year old and a nearly 2 year old we were just about to join the m5 and needed breakfast. We put in restaurants on our route on googl... read more As a family of 4 with an 11 year old and a nearly 2 year old we were just about to join the m5 and needed breakfast. We put in restaurants on our route on google maps and Helen’s Diner was a 5 minute detour.. We took a chance and went to check it out, not knowing what we would find as it was situated on a industrial estate. When we arrived we were surprised! It looked great and had loads of free parking and some nice outdoor seating as well. We sat at a booth and were told by the young waitress that she would come and take our order from the table. She did fairly quickly despite having walk in customer ordering take aways and she even brought over a highchair for us. Unfortunately the coffee machine wasn’t working but these things happen, we could’ve had a standard coffee but opted for juices. Our food came out really quickly and hot. The portions were crazy big! We had breakfast baguettes and sandwiches and they were all lovely. Definitely value for money. The kids were given a free bag of chocolate when we left and the staff were really friendly. Would definitely return to have another meal and to try the sundaes!

We had breakfast in the diner which was tasty and great value for money. I would happily visit again.
