Lovely pub that is near but far. Easier to get to from the M5 than you think and a perfect place for lunch or dinner. Food is good and well priced. The views from the cabins in the beer garden are to die for. Lynda, the landlady is very nice but Dorian, the landlord is awesome and worth the trip alone. Probably the best pub on the north west side of the Blackdown Hills.
First time we have been here and hopefully won't be the last. The food was very very good, I had the slow cooked pork belly which I can say is easily the best I have ever had. My wife had the spinach and mushroom risotto which was excellent. We ate outside in one of the little cabins overlooking the valley which we thought were a great idea too. All in all, one of the best meals we have had and a thoroughly enjoyable evening, highly recommended.
Visited a few times recently. Proper pub, very decent prices, gorgeous views too.
