The Polish Peasant - Michigan City

I’m thrilled we discovered this restaurant during our travels! The food was outstanding, and they were incredibly accommodating regarding our son’s dairy allergy. The staff was also very friendly. It’s definitely a hidden gem!

The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the potato pancakes along with an entree that included a variety of items: stuffed cabbage, two pierogi, sausage, and a pork cutlet. The meal was accompanied by freshly baked bread in three different varieties: rye, plain, and another type. Additionally, it came with a homemade soup, which was a creamy chicken soup filled with vegetables. I'm already missing it and can't wait to return!

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic! It's small and charming, yet very welcoming and cozy. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was delicious; I ordered a sampler platter and every item was exceptional. I will definitely be returning and will recommend this place to everyone I know. Kudos to the team at The Polish Peasant!

Best Polish food hands down! Our waitress, Amanda, was extremely helpful and patient with her first time guests. The food was exquisite with every bite. The pierogies melted in your mouth. We will be back one day!
