Peking - Michigan City

This restaurant is truly an amazing place to eat. The staff is welcoming, and the food is outstanding. It’s the perfect place to visit if you’re looking to forget the unpleasant experience of dining at the McHope Center next door. I strongly discourage going to the McHope Center, as their pastor has a reputation for bullying individuals online, belittling them and mocking their personal circumstances and disabilities. I have even left a thorough review of that place, complete with screenshots. In contrast, this lovely restaurant is simply delightful. I can't recommend it highly enough! Make sure to drop by and sample some of their delicious menu offerings. I rate it 5 stars!

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Michigan City. Don't let the woman on the phone deter you; she's just a reminder of how great the food is. Today was my first time ordering, and it certainly won't be my last!

We have been dining at Peking for nearly 40 years, and we absolutely love the food, which has consistently maintained its quality throughout the years! They serve fantastic egg rolls, and their hot and sour soup is the best I’ve ever had anywhere.

The Chicken Fried Rice was delicious, but adding eggs would elevate it even further. However, the Singapore Mei Fun was lacking; it didn't include any green peppers or other vegetables, and the pork wasn't barbecued as expected. Additionally, they didn't serve white rice, which is commonly found at most Chinese restaurants – probably to soften the impact of the curry seasoning.
