I've never been disappointed by this cafe/antique shop in the heart of Micanopy. The Roastbeef sandwich is great, and I have a soft space for places with restaurant cakes. Delish!
The food was outstanding! The staff are very friendly! Be sure to try the Cuban sandwich and the Key Lime cake! It’s a fantastic spot!
A true taste of Old Florida! This charming little café offers a wonderful spot to unwind, whether indoors or on the sunny terrace. I ordered a homemade soup and sandwich - the BLT and veggie soup were both delicious and reasonably priced. I regret not opting for dessert! Be sure to check out the unique souvenirs inside, including DVD copies of "Doc Hollywood," which was partially filmed in Micanopy. The staff was incredibly friendly, and a busker played lovely acoustic classic rock songs on the terrace, adding to the ambiance. Overall, it was a delightful experience!
The breakfast was delicious, featuring black beans and rice, a variety of sandwiches, side dishes, and even ice cream! The café has a charming, cozy atmosphere with locally sourced items and vintage finds. It's adorable and inviting. There's also outdoor seating available for those who smoke. The coffee was reasonably priced.
Excellent. I took a group of 28 people there. That's a lot for this small quirky but charming restaurant. However, the staff handled our group in a timely manner. We had a salad (no iceburg used), chili, black beans and rice and pie. I had YUMMMMMY apple pie with ice cream. Price very good. Food excellent. Apple pie superb. It's worth a drive from Gainesville for lunch and a look at the small charming old Florida town of Micanopy.
