Outstanding menu. The cook has a varied selection of eclectic dishes. Sometimes waiting can be a bit long, but I think it's worth it. Love the salad with goat cheese! View all feedback.
The pancakes arrived hot and fresh, topped with caramel apple sauce and tender, slightly cooked apples. They provided a delightful crunch in the center and packed a lot of fresh flavor—there was no need for syrup since the caramel apple sauce was sweet and delicious all on its own. The French toast was luxurious, filled with creamy peanut butter and ripe bananas that melted in your mouth. It was also drizzled with chocolate sauce for that extra touch of indulgence. Both meals came with a choice of bacon or sausage. The bacon was perfectly crispy—a great option depending on your preference—but the sausage was truly exceptional, possibly the best I've ever had. It had all the qualities you hope for in sausage, with an added kick that made it a standout choice. They were also very accommodating regarding my one-year-old’s milk allergy. While there was nothing on the menu that was dairy-free, they happily scrambled some eggs for them, so everyone could enjoy the meal together. We will definitely be returning to this location and the one in Xenia, Ohio, both to savor more delicious food and to support their mission of giving back to the community.
The menu is exceptional, featuring a diverse range of unique dishes prepared by the chef. The wait can be a bit lengthy at times, but I find it well worth it. I'm a big fan of the salad with goat cheese!
What an amazing mission to help others. Come here for AMAZING food, at really great prices, and if you can afford it, you pay double or triple to help those in need in our community. Most people working here are volunteers. Bless God.
Keep your eyes peeled, or you might overlook this small gem of a restaurant. It's a pay-what-you-can establishment, with most dishes priced around $6. If you're able to pay more, that's wonderful! If you're in a tight spot financially, that's okay too—everyone is welcome here. If you can afford to cover someone else's meal, that's fantastic! The chef here is a true culinary artist, expertly preparing delicious dishes. I highly recommend the French toast or the Reuben sandwich; both are outstanding! This place is not only incredible in terms of food but also has a remarkable mission!
The food is AMAZING and this is a wonderful way to pay it forward. If you haven't been to this place, put it on your to do list. The people who donate their time here are wonderful and you will leave with a full belly and a fuller heart, I promise!
