We had a wonderful evening at the restaurant. The food was excellent, especially the lamb chops. However, the selection of red wine was just average for the price. They added an automatic 18% gratuity for our party of two, which was a bit surprising but not a deal-breaker. Overall, I would recommend this place; just be sure to ask about the red wine options. You might be better off choosing a white or sparkling wine.
I had been here years ago. The space is gorgeous and I was really excited to try this new restaurant. Unfortunately, it was terrible from the second I walked in. Couldn’t find the server. Once seated it took forever to order drinks. Don’t think this establishment has a liquor license as it was only “wine cocktails”. Food came before drinks. It was underwhelming. They were understaffed. Also, a full on private party going on in the back space. Music blasting. Strange they would keep dining open. Not a vibe.
Last night, my friends and I had the pleasure of visiting ZOI, a place that captures the essence of life and the beauty of the Mediterranean. Nestled within coral-rock walls built in 1923, this historical gem transported us to another world. From the lush outdoor garden to the serene Koi fish pond, every detail invites you to indulge in a unique experience. The food was absolutely exquisite, filled with fresh, authentic flavors that made us feel right at home. A special shoutout to Sony, our server, who treated us like royalty with his impeccable service, making our evening even more memorable. If you’re looking for a peaceful oasis with vibrant energy right in the heart of MiMo, ZOI is the perfect place to enjoy a night filled with life, flavors, and great company. Highly recommended!
I am writing to provide feedback on my recent dining experience at your establishment on Aug 26 2023. Me and Girlfriend went out on an evening. We walk in and love the decor of the place. The Server was Rafael (Rafi). He told us to go explore the back area while the food is being prepared if we like. He ended up showing us around the place later he ends up telling us he's one of the owners of the place. Treated us like VIPS said if we like Hookah. We said yes we do.He said I am going to make you a special hookah on me. As we walked in the backyard another waiter came up to us and stated your food is at your table. He give us a free appetizer he stated on the house. Lamb-chops was Bland. Overall the food could have been better for the price I paid. There was No alcohol, wine only. He stated he will getting the liquor license next week. They had sat us near a nosy bathroom area. Where they sat us wasn't a romantic area at all. He stated they usually do dancing but they're all on vacation. They should be back next week he stated. So it was quite day, music low. Were a couple and they choose to sit us in a table of 4. After we finished our food he told us whenever you ready come to the back. We left our table went to the back he sat us near a couch area. He talked more about his restaurant and the pandemic. How he runs his restaurant. How he takes it seriously. How he also does everything and is also the chef as well. He stated he doesn't let his staff cook his food. He stated he has another restaurant in collins and he hates that area. He stated he enjoys being here at this location. How he has a house near by but he is always at the restaurant. How is brothers or cousins run different locations and how they're all partners. He made us a hookah he was being too friendly. He kept smoking a Vape smoke the whole time talking with us. He give us free dessert on the house. He even had a couple puffs of the hookah. Up to the one point where he crossed the line!! My girlfriend went to the bathroom and you showed her where the bathroom was because you said you closed the other one and you asked her for a number while she got out the bathroom. You knew she was with me and You persistent even though she told you she has a man. You know she did tell me when she came back to me. She had told me not to make a scene. She wanted to leave. There was other guests in the restaurant still. You even met us when we left I didn't say one word to you. I was calm surprisingly I even gave you a nice grip handshake. I decided not to take any action because it would had made the situation way worst. So disrespectful and you crossed the line. On top of all this you made a fake Instagram account because supposedly you not good with instagrams you stated. You found my girlfriend on instagram because she posted a picture and she used the geo tag of the restaurant. This is unacceptable out of so many levels I have Never! Never.... experience something like this at a restaurant before. You requested to follow her and message her. Come to think about No wonder why you invited us to Wet Restaurant the whole time..... You told me to call you any time that you know the owners there as well. That you will join as well. You was trying to get my girlfriend... or worst drug us who knows now... But congratulations you played your self. I have a loyal one. Major Stalker stay away!!!!!! If this happened this is probably not the first time he has done this. Harassment out of all levels. And I tip him on top of that as well so disrespectful. He shouldn't be working in the hospitality business at all. Better luck next time, Guys stay away if you bring your wives or girlfriends they might not be loyal. He's there every-night @alinbyson
