Description

Set in Coconut Grove, this lively, sports-focused restaurant is beloved for generous portions, affordable prices and crowd-pleasers like ribs, burgers, seafood and sharable sides. Energetic music, TVs and nightly specials make it a go-to for game nights, celebrations and locals; pitchers and happy hour add value.

Service is often attentive and friendly but can be inconsistent during peak times, and waits, occasional overbooking and limited parking can frustrate visitors. Standout bites include firecracker shrimp, rib rolls and tumbleweed onions, though a few dishes and drinks sometimes disappoint.

"Vincent, the hostess, is great, but there were some issues that need to be addressed. When you tell someone that there’s a 30-minute wait and then offer them $500 for a table, it's not acceptable to keep them waiting longer than that. It’s important not to overbook if you can't follow through. Overall, I was disappointed with the experience."

This restaurant in Coconut Grove really lives up to its reputation! The atmosphere is vibrant, filled with large groups enjoying themselves, making it perfect for watching a game, celebrating a birthday, or just having a casual dinner with friends. You definitely get your money's worth here—affordable prices and generous portions. I highly recommend the sweet potato fries with dipping sauce, as well as any dish featuring the tumbleweed onions. My friend ordered the tumbleweed onions as a side, and they were a standout on the table. Be sure to check out the specials, which are available almost every night of the week. While you can't make reservations in advance, you can join the waitlist while on your way, which is a great way to minimize your wait time.

I've visited Flanigan's many times but had never actually tried the food until today. We made a reservation through Yelp and arrived around 7 PM. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed with the food. The only dish that stood out was the firecracker shrimp, which was well-prepared. However, the Cajun shrimp pasta was lacking in flavor, and the soda tasted watered down. The garlic roll wasn't enjoyable either. It started to get crowded as a game was on, and it was clear that many patrons were there for that reason. On a positive note, the service was excellent! Tiffany was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere is very sporty, with games playing on all the TVs. Parking was a bit hectic on a Friday night. While I'd be willing to return, I definitely wouldn't go back for the food.

Came with the family 1-2 weeks ago and we had server Rosa, awful service. Was running around stressed out when it was empty. Snapped at my mom when she asked for water. We got up and went back to the hostel stand with no work said. They moved us to server Eva and she was wonderful! Attentive, efficient, and super funny. My mom loved her lol. She reccomedned the rib rolls (they are amazing) and some awesome deserts. Give Eva a pat on the back from us..Now that's good service

Basically Florida Roadhouse. I love this place, the food is always great. Highly recommend the rockin rib rolls, dolphin fingers, and garlic rolls. It takes forever to get seated if you're not already on the list.
