Normal food afair for zoos but was a better quality than most. They offer other items than the standard burger and chicken strips, which is nice. The salad was fresh, and the delie wrap was a nice change over a burger. There is plenty of seating under the main polopa and additional seating around the area.Food: 5/5 View all feedback.
What Oscar H doesn't like about Oasis Grill:
By far the worse customer service I've had in a while. I was literally waiting for Ashton Kutcher to come out from the back and say I was getting Punkd. The girl working the register had an attitude the whole time she was taking the order and then she cashed me out and as I was waiting for my food she tried to get smart with me and ask me if I ordered and I said yes and she tried to make me go and pay and I literally... The chicken fingers and fries were absolutely incredible! I was genuinely surprised by how good they were.
The food was a 5/10—I've definitely had worse experiences. However, I wasn't a fan of how the condiments were left out in the open; I saw numerous squirrels and birds licking and eating from that area. Who knows what kind of germs they might introduce? That's a big concern for me. On a positive note, I loved the modern way of ordering food—it's quick and easy!
Approach this place with low expectations and you'll likely be satisfied, as the food is merely average and the service is significantly lacking. It feels as though the staff is being compelled to work. The atmosphere is quite strange. I had to wait in line just to get a bottle of water, and the staff seemed unable to manage the queue—it was more like a free-for-all, which makes "zoo" a fitting description. When I raised my concerns with the manager, he simply told us to keep waiting in line. Is this really the best they can do? It’s frustrating to see large establishments allowing poor management at such crucial points of customer interaction. Overall, a disappointing experience.
My husband and I were genuinely impressed with our dining experience here! Typically, when you eat at a zoo, you don't expect much, but the food surpassed our expectations! It was served hot and tasted exceptionally fresh. We were also delighted to discover a great selection of adult beverages available. Food: 5/5
I took my niece to Zoo Miami (formerly known as Metro Zoo) and after spending an hour at the splash pad, we decided to grab some lunch. The nearest restaurant is the Oasis Grill. The menu features standard theme park fare like chicken, pizza, and burgers, but it was surprisingly satisfying. I ordered a cheese pizza for her and a cheeseburger with fries for myself. The food was genuinely tasty—the burger was straightforward but delicious. My niece finished her entire pizza, which is quite remarkable since she's a picky eater. Additionally, the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
