good was decent. not great, but good. the first baked potato of my wife was cold and hard because she was long sat. on the plus side, when we brought this to the attention of the server, she brought a second that was fresh from the many and it was excellent. the cajun pasta was also good, but nothing special. the service was good, and the staff was friendly. What User doesn't like about Montana Mike's Steakhouse:
My Medium steak was crispy and over cooked, potato cold, so much the butter wouldn't melt. Rolls were meh and scarce. Would have requested another steak but the server disappeared. My husband had to go back to search for her to get and found her in the back with her child. Paid restaurant steakhouse price for inedible food. Oh, and when requested more rollsh, they were out. I will definitely be dining there again. The steak was delicious, and their signature steak sauce was amazing. Even the baked sweet potato was perfect.
I had a negative experience during my first visit to the restaurant due to a poor waitress. However, I decided to give it another chance and on my return, I received excellent service and enjoyed delicious food.

I have to upgrade my review to 5 stars. The first 2 years I was in Miami, the service here left a lot to be desired. There were a couple of good servers but if they weren't there it was horrible.Over this last year since Mike has taken over though, he has cleaned up the restaurant, he has hired new staff and trained them properly, and his standards have brought this place way up. Now, it is rare to have an off night where anything goes wrong (nobody is perfect 100% of the time). His assistant manager, Stacey, holds the staff to the same high standards whether or not Mike is in the restaurant. The food has improved greatly and is always delicious.I would recommend the Miami Montana Mike's 10/10 times to anyone looking for a good meal with great service.
