What Tafa Collins doesn't like about Inkas Joint:
Took an hour to get our food. Rotisserie chicken was red around the bone. When we finally received our food, it was incomplete. Waited another 5 minutes to get fries! Of all things. Two workers, taking orders preparing making wait time long. This was our first time trying this out, will never eat here again. I have eaten there before but unfortunately they were closed when we got there today ? but highly recommend them food is great and authentic Peruvian food
Wow! This place is incredible. We admit, we came to “the ranch” for the taco truck not realizing there were other places here. We saw the Peruvian truck and HAD to eat here- we loooove Peruvian ceviche and aji de gallina. We left Long Beach, CA about 5 months ago and been traveling the country and craving Peruvian food (there is an amazing place at home that we miss . Chef Laura not only met what we were expecting, but exceeded it. Timing was on point. Pricing was very reasonable. Food was absolutely delicious!! And... to top it all off, we asked Laura if she had a minute to talk to us about the menu and her recommendations and she did- in depth about the cooking process and ingredients she uses. (My partner is a chef as well and could tell Laura was educated and passionate about the cuisine she’s cooking/serving. For a food truck, you usually don’t get that type of hospitality and this was a wonderful surprise! We got the food to go and usually, when we get home with “to go” food, we’re disappointed, but we were so unbelievably happy with the food that were felt we HAD to write a review to express our gratitude and appreciation for what she’s putting into her craft and obviously point people in her direction to eat here! You won’t be disappointed!
Great discovery. Inka's Joint makes some seriously delicious food. Great chicha. Try the homemade hot sauce.
Fish ceviche is authentic and so amazing. We sampled many items and everything was very tasty and fresh! Would absolutely come back. Wonderful service as well
