Feedback
Nestled in the heart of the city, this beloved Nicaraguan restaurant continues to attract loyal patrons with its vibrant menu and welcoming ambiance. Diners rave about the flavorful dishes, particularly the churrasco de pollo, roast pork, and oxtail soup. While the food quality remains high, feedback highlights a decline in service standards, with occasional lapses in attentiveness and cleanliness. Popular for family gatherings, the restaurant is often bustling, especially on weekends, adding to its lively atmosphere. Despite some inconsistencies, the enticing natural juices and overall culinary experience keep guests returning for more delightful Nicaraguan cuisine.
Breakfast and coffee are amazing! It's one of my favorite spots for a morning meal.
I visited for a business breakfast and noticed that the table wasn't clean when I arrived, which I mentioned to the server. Although they did a quick cleaning, they missed a spot or two. On a positive note, the tables themselves are of excellent quality and very sturdy. The food arrived in a timely manner, but the server seemed a bit distracted and forgot to bring one important side dish. However, the coffee was delicious and served hot. Aside from those two issues, the restaurant has a wonderful ambiance with a pleasant, social atmosphere. It mostly attracts families, and I found the prices on the menu to be quite reasonable. The location is also nice, situated on a corner.
This is my favorite Nicaraguan restaurant. The food is fantastic! I do wish the carne asada was a bit more seasoned, but other than that, everything is delicious. The churrasco de pollo is especially great. In my opinion, it's better than Madroño, which is just a few blocks away.
