Stayed for several nights in Miami at the Marriott. The first night we were so tired from the long drive that we didn’t feel like going out and stayed at the hotel to eat. What Dave D doesn't like about Catch Grill:
I sat at the bar and found the ambiance to be decent. I ordered an Old Fashioned, but it ended up having more ice than liquor. It tasted fine, but when you pay that much for a drink, you expect more. View all feedback.
I made an unscheduled stop to celebrate some good health news, and I was warmly greeted by Juan, the restaurant manager (apologies if I've misspelled his name). He treated me well, and there was a tall bellman with short white hair who also made me feel welcome. I ordered a chicken sandwich with fries and a grapefruit juice. It’s a nice place to stop by. As I sat there, I couldn’t help but think of the song “Thunder” by Imagine Dragons, one of my favorite bands that I used to listen to with my ex-girlfriend, who was German-American.
Initially, we were a bit confused about how to locate this restaurant until we discovered that it's situated inside the Marriott hotel. We really enjoyed our visit. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. The patio offered a lovely view, which is why we chose to dine there. Parking costs around $11. Overall, I would definitely recommend it.
The restaurant offers a stunning view of the bay and the service is both attentive and friendly. My favorite dish was the lime-infused scallops served with seared potatoes and pickled onions, among other accompaniments. I also really enjoyed the lobster bisque. On other occasions, I had a BLT with roasted chicken, which I liked very much, and their black Angus burger was clearly made with great care. Although it’s located within the Marriott Biscayne Bay, it doesn't feel like a typical hotel restaurant at all. Great job!

It was still happy hour, so we had a few drinks from the bar and I’ll say that they didn’t cheat us on the drinks. They were mixed strong. Overall, this was a good experience. This is by no means a top tier establishment but, if you’re looking for a solid place to eat, this fits the bill.
