Description

An essential stop for Cuban cuisine in Miami, this bustling, spacious eatery draws locals and visitors with generous, well-seasoned plates—think ropa vieja, oxtail and Cuban sandwiches—plus a beloved bakery dishing out pastelitos. Coffee and cocktails are strong, desserts (flan, crème soufflé) shine, and portions and prices impress. Expect a lively, family-friendly atmosphere, occasional waits or mild inattentiveness during peak hours, and extra tucked-away seating for quieter work or group meals.

On Saturday night after 6 PM, we had to wait 45 minutes, but it was definitely worth it. We enjoyed a couple of mojitos while waiting. The meal was outstanding, the prices were very reasonable, and the desserts were delicious—especially the flan and the crème soufflé. This is a must-visit spot in Miami!

I experienced prompt service even though there was a long line. I ordered a cuban coffee and flan. The flan was perfectly caramelized, and the Cuban coffee was exceptional! It was a fantastic way to kick off my afternoon. There's also additional seating tucked away in the back, which is a nice place to get some work done, though there are only a few outlets available, so be sure to bring a fully charged laptop!

One of the best places I've ever eaten. The restaurant is huge. And the food is delicious. Been here twice now. Stopped randomly during a layover at the airport. 5 years ago. Came back with the whole entire family yesterday. I swear every time I come to Miami I'm going to eat at this place at least once! We had arroz con pollo , ropa vieja, and the oxtail! So good. Just. So. Good! Place is always crowded for good reason. It's a staple as far as I can tell. I absolutely will always eat here every time I go to Miami.

Good food and the coffee is very good! Tried the Cuban sandwich along with the guava puff pastry and cafe con leche. Service is quick with the amount of people that come in. Atmosphere is live with a lot of people and pretty authentic Cuban cuisine.

This restaurant is definitely the go-to spot for Cuban cuisine. It was bustling with people, and the bakery section was so popular it felt like they were giving away free croquettes! Once we put our names on the list, we were seated fairly quickly, especially considering we had a party of eight. The café con leche was fantastic, and the paella was delicious. My fish dish, the Northern Cod Chunks, was excellent and came in generous portions. The service was pleasant as well.
