Cafe Versailles - Miami
Cafe Versailles
Description
At the heart of Miami Airport, a restaurant promises authentic Cuban cuisine but has recently fallen short of expectations. While some diners praise the extensive menu and enticing Cuban sweets, many report lengthy wait times, indifferent service, and food quality issues, ranging from lukewarm soups to mistaken orders. Rude staff behavior has also been noted, raising concerns about hygiene standards. Although there are bright spots, such as an exceptional Cuban sandwich and lively ambiance, the overall consensus indicates that the experience is inconsistent. Many patrons now recommend seeking alternative dining options in the vibrant area, where better meals await.

We appreciated the guidance and knowledge we received about Cuban sweets, which made it easier for us to take the plunge and try them. You can find a delicious option for any meal there. I just wish it were closer to home so that I could visit more often!
Very very disappointed in the Cuban sandwich. It was not Mojo pork but sliced compressed pork meat substance and sliced compressed ham meat substance that made me think what the heck are they thinking? You will get a better cuban sandwich from Pollo tropical or anywhere else for that matter. Sorry for the bad review.
HorrendousI regret having told my girlfriend that this place sounded great.Extremely disappointing Cuban zero care put into the sandwich.I've literally gotten better meals from gas stations. The Cuban was so atrocious the Papa Rellena she got for me went straight into the garbage.
Dined at Cafe Versailles a couple of times a few years ago when our son was attending university in Miami, and enjoyed the food and the experience, and marveled at how inexpensive it was. Well it isn't the same place anymore. The food was frankly mediocre. I had ordered the Boliche Cuban style pot roast supposedly eye of round stuffed with chorizo. I got a pork chop. It was tender but not what I ordered. I sent it back. I then got a piece of beef that was clearly not pot roasted. It was dry and hard as shoe leather, and not stuffed with chorizo. At that point I was hungry and for 13 wasn't going to keep fighting. My wife said her meal I dont remember what it was was OK but nothing special. With all the actually good food in the area I can't believe we waited 45 minutes for that. We don't live in the area but next time we are we won't be back.
