We arrived in Miami around dinner time with no transportation and hungry. The area where we were staying had canals, lakes, and highways that felt unsafe for walking, and the taxi fares to restaurants were quite steep. Fortunately, BT's Bar and Grill, advertised as a family-friendly American restaurant, was a short walk from our hotel, so we decided to give it a shot. However, upon arriving, we quickly realized that BT (short for Booby Trap) Bar and Grill is not what it seems; it is, in fact, a gentlemen's club. The bright, flashy lighting is the first clue, and the almost exclusively male clientele is the next. Since it was just my sister and me looking for a meal, we opted not to enter, as it appeared quite sketchy. While the food may be good, there’s always the concern of running into something unsavory. We had a strong feeling that this wouldn’t be the dining experience we were looking for. Thankfully, the Radisson Red Hotel had a well-curated menu of bar food and local brews, which turned out to be a great alternative.
