Brava delivers theatrically plated, inventive cuisine and attentive service in a convenient pre-theater location. Standout moments include chef’s surprise courses, delicate seafood, osso bucco and decadent desserts, though some dishes trend salty and a few basics (rebranded fries) disappoint. The dining room favors neutral, high‑ceilinged decor and a polished bar; prices skew upscale, making it ideal for celebrations and date nights. Service is generally excellent but can occasionally feel brisk or condescending. Overall, a presentation-forward, largely five-star experience worth dressing up for if budget allows.

This was an unforgettable dining experience. I made my reservation through OpenTable and also the restaurant’s website, just to be safe. I celebrated my 30th birthday here while watching Hamilton. The food was exceptional, featuring unique flavors not often found in Miami. We enjoyed the short rib Wellington, lamb osso buco, two desserts, and a tortellini dish that we devoured so quickly we didn’t even get a chance to photograph it. The service was excellent overall. My only minor complaint, which I didn’t mention at the time, was that the server hurried over once because he thought I was trying to share the actual lamb bone with my boyfriend—as if we didn’t understand what a lamb bone was. I found that a bit insulting, possibly because we asked questions about the menu and he assumed we were uninformed. I like to know exactly what I’m about to enjoy, and truly, I did enjoy everything. I just think servers should be mindful not to come across as condescending to guests who want a thoughtful dining experience, regardless of how knowledgeable they appear. Another small detail: a white wine, Maculan, was listed under the "port" wines. It was delicious, but I was expecting something more like a tawny port. The manager was very kind and even comped one of our desserts for the special occasion, although I hadn’t mentioned the birthday during the meal. I would definitely return, though next time I might dress a bit more formally to avoid feeling out of place. I didn’t think I looked unkempt, but who knows. The server wasn’t rude exactly, but that interaction was a bit off-putting. Aside from that, everyone else was warm and attentive, and the food is truly worth the price. Our bill, including tip, was around $237 but was reduced to $220 after one dessert was removed. I would happily pay that again—just without the comment about the bones.

We enjoyed a fantastic dinner at Brava last night. As fans of Chef Kilgore, we were not let down. I tried the eggplant tart and the branzino—both were absolutely delicious. The wine list is impressive as well. For dessert, I chose the goat cheese cheesecake, which I really appreciated for its balanced, not-too-sweet flavor. The service was outstanding—warm and attentive throughout.

I’m a big fan of Chef Kilgore, and this was my first visit to Brava. What can I say? The food was incredible and the service excellent. From now on, whenever I come to see a show, I’ll definitely make a dinner reservation here. I’m already looking forward to my next visit—booked and excited. See you soon!

Two years ago, Brava was 5 star; on par with any upscale restaurant in the city! But now the quality of their food and service has really gone down! Calling them ‘Frites’ does not make the greasy ‘French Fries’ any better! I understand the needto lower costs, especially in the COVID era, but it too bad they’ve sacrificed their creativity and imagination!

I just wanna mention that I used to go to BRAVA RESTAURANT because it was convenient before a show and I see a lot of shows. I was just there and only the name is the same. It was one of the best meals I have had and the presentation was beautiful.Apparently they had just opened up the day before… And they definitely have their act together and the food is outstanding. Ihighly recommend the new BRAVA. Forget the one that was there before because that was always disappointing FREDERIC MASSON,was excellent and I only wish I could remember the servers name and she was wonderful. I’ll see you for all the shows thisyear
