Feedback
A lively, stylish taco bar praised for fresh cocktails, inventive small plates and a fun indoor/outdoor atmosphere. Patrons love the flavors and bar service, though portions trend tapas-size and some deem prices high. Service quality varies — from attentive, friendly staff to slow checkouts and occasional mishandling of spills — and mobile QR ordering reduces face-to-face interaction. A dependable spot for drinks, light meals and nights out, best for those seeking flavorful, casual dining rather than large, traditional entrees.
3 of us stayed at the ALOFTMiami Aventura and were thrilled to find a Taco Bar next door as we are not big eaters at night. All of us enjoyed our bowls and mini tacos on our first visit. The end of the experience was disappointing as I waited for 25 minutes after our dishes were cleared for the server to come for us to settle the check. Despite that poor experience, my travel companions went again a couple of evenings later because they wanted a light meal close to the hotel. Again the food quality was tasty. The service was average. On the third evening I pointed out to the floor Manager Dante that my steak bowl was loaded with too much lime and I advised it was inedible. I asked him to let his kitchen know and his response was that the strong lime taste was likely due to their practice of adding lime to the sautéed Vegatables. There was no offer from Dante to discount the meal I could not finish. At the end of that 3rd night, the wait staff who was clearing the dishes from our table dumped a bowl of water and butter all over my friend's brand new slacks and shirt. Although she said sorry, she focused on moving away the dishes and did not offer to get napkins or Soda to clean up the mess. When I insisted that this was the least she could do, she walked off and 10mins later another resource came with a glass of Soda Water and some napkins. After spending 60 dollars on dinner for two, my friend's pants and top are ruined as the oil stain from the butter is not budging. @bartaco shame on you. Accidents happen but your staff training is poor and your lack of focus on adequate attention to your guests is unacceptable
Overrated and unauthentic. Extremely small tacos for the price. Real Mexican places offer chips and salsa for the table but here you have to pay extra for hard tortillas you gotta break yourself. They have a virtual QR service method of ordering which is ok but it takes away the human interaction… it also devalues the service of the waiters.
I liked this restaurant a lot. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and instructed on the menu options. We also received some chips and salsa with two options of salsa based on your spice preference. I ordered the chicken street tacos and they were seasoned well. It was recommended to try the duck tacos which is one of their specialties, but we would have to do that next time. We had a nice seat outside enjoying the weather. The staff was very attentive and quick with the drinks and food. I would definitely return to this restaurant when I am back in the area.
AMAZING!! The food and the service is literally amazing ! I had the best service you can even imagine! First I had James who greeted me , then Natalie , Brenda , and Tristan! They were all so attentive and asked if we need anything ! The tacos were SOOOBOMB! Natalie suggested tacos that were great ! The oysters was the best taco for me ! I ate at the bar and it?s literally thebest service . Beautiful atmosphere ! And ICONIC customer service ! Thank you so much and this place is a MUST GO TO !
Went here to grab a quick bite and wait for a friend. I was able to get one of the few empty seats at the bar. Friendly service and an extensive tequila and mezcal selection! Great food and a lively place!
