Firehouse Subs Miami Lakes

The ice machine didn't have no ice in it. So I had to wait till it gets filled. My meatball sandwich wasn't ready because they needed more meatballs to be cooked. So I had to wait or leave if I couldn't. From what I could see it looks satisfactory clean bathroom table surroundings. They gave me a free cookie because my patient waiting. Management probably has to have a good talk with people there or maybe they need to hire the right employees. Avoid this place for now if you can' that is my recommendation. I've seen better times there.

I ordered a sandwich for takeout today, and when I arrived, I noticed a sign that said they didn't have the ingredients for it. To my surprise, they sent me just a piece of bread with nothing else. I can’t help but wonder what they were thinking when they decided to pack and send that out. It would have been nice if they had at least included some sauce to enhance the bread.

Choose a sandwich through the door today, and on the entrance it said they don't have the ingredients for it and literally sent me a bread with nothing else. I can only ask what went through her thought process that decided to pack and send it. At least send me a sauce to show up the bread.

I ordered online for a minimum wait. That was not the case. I ordered and walked in 10 minutes later. I wasn't expecting the sandwich to be ready. I asked the worker making the sandwich if it was ready; she said no, so I sat down. They called out names as the orders were ready. I never heard my name called. 15 minutes later, I asked about my sandwich again. She said sorry and handed it to me. Communication sucks here, but the pepperoni pizza meatball sub was good.

I would suggest choosing a different firehouse, as they not only take an inordinate amount of time to prepare your food, but also lack the courtesy and quality service one would expect. If you inquire about your order, prepare for unpleasant looks and dismissive behavior from the staff. They struggle to work cohesively, and during busy lunch hours, they become overwhelmed and exceptionally slow. It’s clear that the manager is hiring individuals who are only willing to do the bare minimum for a paycheck, which negatively impacts the business's reputation. It's no surprise that this firehouse is short-staffed, as the employees seem unmotivated, and I can only imagine the work environment among them is quite poor.
