The truffle fettuccine and short rib dishes were highlights, along with a tasty s'more ice cream dessert. However, the service was lacking, with some patrons experiencing rudeness and slow service. Despite the service issues, the restaurant still has repeat customers. Some were disappointed in overcooked pasta dishes, while others enjoyed the Memphis BBQ ribs but found the Texas BBQ brisket lacking. The service was exceptional for some, with courteous staff and delicious food. The menu changes monthly, keeping things interesting for return visits. Brunch options are unique and delicious, with fair portions at a reasonable price. Overall, a good spot for dinner with great service and knowledgeable staff, although it can be loud on the weekends.
Went on trivia night. My food was great. Like a lot of Maine, food is pricey but that's standard around here.
It seems weird to say this but whatever you do, do not order greek food from Jimmy The Greeks.
I've always been a bit skeptical of Jimmy The Greek's after seeing so many mixed reviews, but I was very pleasantly surprised by our most recent visit
The chicken wings were undercooked and bland, the ribs were mostly fatty, and the service was awful.
We were three adults with two (nicely dressed and well mannered) kids at 5 in the evening on a Sunday. The restaurant was 1/2 empty and the rude hostess shoved us at a tall bar table in between a service station and the kitchen door. After asking someone other than the hostess were moved to a regular table. The waitstaff was either overwhelmed or just terribly trained. Service took forever, orders were wrong, and the music was unnecessarily loud. BBQ brisket tasted like it was pounded with a mallet and soaked in liquid smoke. The one good thing I can say about this place is that the onion rings were incredible.
