Maxine's Bistro - Miami Beach

As for the food, our steak sandwiches were incorrectly ordered, and when the eggs returned, they were overcooked. While it wasn't terrible, we managed to eat them. The chicken fingers had a greasy flavor, but the Chicken and Avocado Club was excellent, and my daughter loved her pasta with cheese sauce. The pitcher of margaritas was a good deal at $35. We also noticed that the tip was automatically added to our check, which we overlooked, resulting in us unintentionally tipping the waiter twice. We returned later for more margaritas and tried the pepperoni pizza, which was very good too. Overall, it was a mixed experience, but there were definitely some highlights!

When we arrived, we were informed that they hadn't accepted any reservations for the open table, so we had to wait.

I've visited Maxine several times, and I've always loved it. On this trip, we had dinner on New Year's Eve and brunch on New Year's Day, and both meals were fantastic! I'm also a big fan of Maxine's dessert selections!

Restaurant would not honor our reservation. they claim they have no connection to opem table. they don't have a phone, so we had to go there to confirm. we used to go to happiness on the day so that we had time to find another restaurant that would accommodate us.

What a great place! The food was great, live Salsa band on Saturday morning, **** Mary was yummy, and loved sitting on the patio watching the beautiful people go by. Christopher the manager was so nice and took care of our reservation issue right away! Highly recommend!
