Contribute FeedbackKatsuya, nestled within the SLS Hotel in Miami Beach, offers a mixed dining experience. While its vibrant atmosphere and attentive staff contribute positively, food quality shows inconsistency. Guests rave about the sushi's freshness and standout dishes like the Katsuya roll, spicy edamame, and rock shrimp; however, others find the offerings mediocre, particularly the Miami Spice menu. Cocktails are a highlight, with inventive concoctions that impress. Despite some unwelcome service experiences and ambiance shortcomings, many patrons appreciate the romantic setting, making Katsuya a spot worth trying, particularly for special occasions or drinks.
Use to be a common male. I didn't go to Katsuya in over two years. The menu may have changed the cook. The food was indirectly not worth as many better Asian restaurants in miami.
Red lighting has all messed up my pictures for IG. Service and good, except the mushroom was served with a knife and fork. That was pretty gloomy.
Unbelievable food! I wish I could eat it every week. Our waitress was also so amazing. The best recommendations.
Amazing staff, everyone was so nice. Food was brilliant, will be back
My husband and I make a point to get a reservation at Katsuya every time we are in the Miami-South Beach area. The menu has a great variety of items. Everything we’ve tried so far, has been fantastic. The sashimi/sushi is very clean and fresh. And most importantly, the raw fish items are served dead cold, as they should be. We always try one of the Robata grill items; this time we had the eggplant. Delicious ! The service at Katsuya is always wonderful. There were three large groups (possibly all one party) that seemed a bit out of control and loud for a fine-dining establishment such as Katsuya. The staff did a great job of making their presence known, simply by doing a continuous walk through. And last but most certainly not least…. anyone who has read any of my reviews, knows how I feel about the cleanliness of a restaurant. If the bathrooms of a restaurant are dirty and poorly maintained, then the kitchen is probably dirty too. Katsuya gets an “A” for cleanliness. Thank you for a fabulous dining experience.
